Job Summary

The Faculty of Business and Information Technology at Ontario Tech University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position in Marketing Analytics. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary research team and contribute to the development of research hypotheses, design data collection strategies, and interpret study results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the research team to analyze large marketing datasets and develop predictive models for customer behavior.
  • Design and implement machine learning algorithms to analyze social media data and predict customer engagement.
  • Coordinate research meetings and mentor graduate students.
  • Engage in knowledge translation activities and present research findings at conferences.
  • Write academic papers and assist in the preparation of grant proposals.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Business Analytics, Operations Research, Management Science, Computer Science, or a related field with a quantitative focus.
  • Demonstrated outstanding research background in Data Analytics or related fields.
  • Familiarity with advertising research and proficiency in using machine learning techniques.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience in manuscript preparation, publications, and grant proposals.
