About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Banquet Server to join our team at Mag Events Ltd. as a key member of our hospitality staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing their complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Prepare and serve specialty food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Present bills to customers, accept payment in various forms, and balance cash and record sales accurately.
  • Menu Guidance: Advise customers on menu selections, making recommendations based on their preferences and dietary needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service, train staff on new procedures, and provide support as needed.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, clearing and cleaning tables, trays, and chairs to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Communication: Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages in a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Order Taking: Take orders accurately and relay them to kitchen and bar staff in a timely manner.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours during peak periods.
Requirements
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Term: Permanent position available.
