Mechanical Engineering Intern
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern who will assist in the design of mechanical and electromechanical tools and equipment by developing and testing specifications and methodologies. This internship will provide valuable experience in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess mechanical and electromechanical systems by designing and conducting research, applying mechanical, hydraulic, and material principles.
  • Design and implement cost-effective modifications to enhance safety and reliability.
  • Develop, test, and evaluate theoretical designs.
  • Create and print 3D CAD models of components and assemblies.
  • Prepare detailed technical drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Ensure products are manufactured reliably and perform consistently in operational environments.
  • Manage projects utilizing engineering principles and methodologies.
  • Recommend adjustments based on prototype testing outcomes.
  • Employ research, analytical, conceptual, and planning skills, particularly in mathematical modeling and computer-aided design.
  • Develop mechanical and electromechanical products by researching and testing manufacturing methods and materials; gather insights from field operators.
  • Compile product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Maintain equipment functionality by coordinating maintenance and repair services according to established procedures.
  • Enhance professional and technical knowledge through workshops, networking, and training.
  • Participate in site visits and meetings with suppliers.
Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated application of engineering principles in tooling development.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Solid foundational knowledge of mechanical design and its applications.
  • Critical thinking and exceptional problem-solving abilities, capable of working independently or collaboratively.
  • Hands-on experience in practical applications.
  • Familiarity with machining and fabrication processes.
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet organizational objectives.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and highly motivated with strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with 3D printing technologies.
