About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Yard Clerk to join our team at Redriver Lumber Ltd. in a warehouse setting. As a Yard Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our yard, including organizing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations: Assist in the organization and maintenance of the warehouse, including receiving and storing inventory, and ensuring that all areas are clean and safe.
  • Yard Management: Oversee the movement of goods and materials in and out of the yard, including coordinating with drivers and other team members.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other relevant information.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with team members, drivers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a warehouse or yard setting
  • Skills: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, physically demanding, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player
