About the Role:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the high-volume and high-performing Talent Acquisition team at Paladin Airport Security Services. This position requires a strong understanding of recruitment strategies, organizational skills, and effective communication to attract and retain top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing Recruitment Strategies: Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to gain a working knowledge of position requirements and business needs.
- Building Effective Recruitment Initiatives: Develop and implement strategic recruitment initiatives to support the attraction and retention of high-volume and niche top-talent.
- Sourcing and Establishing Partnerships: Establish core partnerships with agencies and educational institutions to source top talent.
- Candidate Screening and Interviewing: Screen and interview high volumes of candidates to ensure healthy pipelines.
- Brand Ambassador: Act as a brand ambassador for Paladin Airport Security Services at internal and external hiring and career events.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively within the Talent Acquisition team and with other departments and stakeholders to achieve recruitment goals.
- Recruitment Metrics and Analysis: Track and analyze recruitment metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide insights and recommendations on recruitment practices to drive continuous improvement and process effectiveness.
- DE&I Hiring Practices: Collaborate with stakeholders and hiring managers to support diversity, equity, and inclusion hiring practices.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1-3 years of progressive experience in a Talent Acquisition role.
- Certifications: Valid RAIC holder or ability to obtain Transport Security Clearance upon successful hire.
- Criminal Background: Clear criminal background record.
- Language Skills: Fluency in French is considered an asset.
- Teamwork and Communication: Ability to effectively and collaboratively work in a team environment.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate well across various audiences and stakeholders with diplomacy, tact, and confidentiality.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and ability to hold oneself accountable to high standards.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000
This role is based on-site at our office in Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
