- Oversee estate administration processes, ensuring adherence to legal standards and client preferences.
- Represent clients in estate litigation cases, such as will contests and trust disputes.
- Deliver strategic legal advice on complex estate matters.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and support staff to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
- Stay informed on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional communication and service.
- If applicable, contribute to corporate law practices by advising on governance and related issues.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of experience as a licensed attorney in British Columbia.
- Extensive expertise in estate planning, administration, and litigation.
- Strong skills in legal research, analysis, and drafting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and cases effectively.
- High standards of ethics and professionalism.
- A book of business is advantageous but not essential.
- Residence in British Columbia is required.
