Team OverviewOur Focus
Our team is dedicated to crafting secure, user-centric, and innovative solutions within the self-custody wallet sector. As we grow, we seek a crypto-savvy Engineering Manager to spearhead our full-stack engineering initiatives, ensuring our products not only meet but surpass industry benchmarks.
In this position, you will oversee the development and maintenance of our codebases utilizing both React Native and Node. Your proficiency in creating scalable and high-performance applications will play a crucial role in our platform's success as you lead a team of full-stack engineers. Staying informed about emerging technologies and trends, you will conduct comprehensive research and evaluations to ensure our systems remain at the forefront of the industry.
This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who is passionate about the future of cryptocurrency. If you aspire to develop outstanding consumer applications on-chain, we welcome your application.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and cultivate a team of highly skilled full-stack engineers
- Oversee the architecture, technical design, development, and performance enhancement of the Web3 wallet
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using React Native and Node
- Dedicate at least 25% of your time to coding, as we expect Engineering Managers to remain closely engaged with the technical aspects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Security, to ensure seamless integration of new features and enhancements
- Maintain a security-first mindset by staying updated on the latest trends in Web3, blockchain technologies, and digital wallet security
- Assist in scaling the team by recruiting and developing passionate engineers committed to excellence
- Lead by example and foster talent within a full-stack team, emphasizing the growth of developers
- Identify, analyze, and resolve performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the codebase
- Own, drive, and be accountable for KPIs related to reliability, resiliency, durability, and uptime
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in software development, focusing on web and mobile applications
- 3+ years of proven experience managing high-performance engineering teams
- Hands-on experience with blockchain or Web3 applications, familiar with EVM and contract interaction details
- Deep understanding of TypeScript and proficiency with React and React Native frameworks
- Experience with Node, RESTful APIs, and WebSockets
- Familiarity with modern build pipelines and tooling
- Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and principles
- Extensive knowledge of software development and delivery best practices; you know when a team isn't moving efficiently and how to address it
- Experience in driving solutions to key business challenges, even when requirements are not clearly defined
- Familiarity with Swift and Kotlin
- Experience with maintaining open-source software
- Experience with Smart contracts
