Position Overview

Rate Me Contractors Ltd is seeking a dedicated **Construction Site Supervisor** to oversee our projects and ensure they are completed efficiently and safely. This role is crucial in managing the daily operations on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Cost Estimation**: Accurately estimate project costs and required materials.
  • **Software Proficiency**: Utilize CADD and other software systems for project planning and execution.
  • **Training Oversight**: Supervise and mentor apprentices, ensuring they receive proper training.
  • **Reporting**: Prepare detailed production and progress reports.
  • **Activity Coordination**: Schedule and coordinate activities among team members and other supervisors.
  • **Safety Compliance**: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on site.
  • **Blueprint Interpretation**: Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
  • **Material Requisition**: Order necessary materials and supplies for ongoing projects.
  • **Work Supervision**: Oversee the work of employees and ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications

**Education**: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.

**Experience**: A minimum of 1 month to less than 7 months of relevant experience in construction supervision.

**Employment Type**: Permanent position.

**Language Requirement**: Proficiency in English is required.

**Work Hours**: Full-time position requiring 35 hours of work per week.
