Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Flatbed Truck Operator to join our logistics team. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of goods using flatbed trucks.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Previous experience is considered an asset
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism
  • Load and unload cargo securely
  • Operate and navigate straight or articulated trucks for transporting materials
  • Conduct vehicle inspections, ensuring the condition of tires, lights, brakes, and other essential equipment
  • Perform necessary brake adjustments
  • Carry out pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections while overseeing all vehicle operations
Licenses and Certifications
  • Possession of a Class 1/1F/A Licence for semi-trailer trucks is required
  • Valid driver's licence is mandatory
Work Environment
  • Job involves extensive travel on the road
  • Position is permanent with a commitment of 40 hours per week
  • Work language is English
