The assistant store manager collaborates closely with the store manager to foster a cooperative atmosphere that values inclusion and positive interactions. To drive the store's success, you will guide and mentor the team in achieving sales and profitability targets. Your responsibilities will also encompass recruitment, performance oversight, training, and development. Your adaptability to various situations, challenges, and schedules is crucial for your success.
Daily Responsibilities
- Ensure the store aligns with company goals and adheres to key performance metrics.
- Lead store operations by effectively managing tasks related to company policies, loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
- Contribute to the recruitment, management, development, and training of passionate candidates focused on sales, customer service, and fashion.
- Execute marketing initiatives while maintaining a clean, consistent, and inviting environment that encourages customer engagement.
- Establish open and effective communication with both the store manager and district manager.
Candidate Profile
What You Bring to the Role
- A minimum of one to two years of experience in team leadership or supervisory roles within a customer-centric environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve excellent sales outcomes.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
