Position Overview

The Landscape Construction Supervisor at Alpine Irrigation plays a crucial role in overseeing and directing landscape projects. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure successful project execution.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Work Environment

This role is primarily conducted outdoors, requiring adaptability to various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and estimate the necessary labor and materials for landscape projects.
  • Coordinate and supervise the construction of decks, decorative features, and retaining walls.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of landscape construction activities.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs for project tracking.
  • Order and requisition materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Address work-related issues, provide technical guidance, and suggest improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
Certifications and Licenses

Possession of a Canadian Nursery Landscape Association (CNLA) certification is required.

Safety and Security

A valid driver's license check is a prerequisite for this position.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Capability to perform tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Experience

A minimum of 2 years and up to 3 years of relevant experience is required. This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 32 hours per week.
