Job Title: Director of Retail Design

At Arc'teryx Limited, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Retail Design to join our team. As a key member of our Retail Design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and engaging retail experiences that reflect our brand's values and aesthetic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement retail design concepts that align with our brand's vision and strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of retail design projects
  • Lead design presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Manage and direct external architects and designers on drawing deliverables and construction documents
  • Review and approve shop drawings, architectural drawings, and other design-related documents
  • Partner with Visual Merchandising team to finalize store layouts and assortment strategies
  • Design new innovative store concepts and solutions
  • Support the evolution of our Retail Design Playbook
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in global retail design
  • Proven track record of delivering innovative design concepts and solutions on time and on budget
  • LEED certification and/or experience with sustainable design practices
  • Strong design and presentation skills
  • Proficient in CAD drafting using AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, Enscape, and Smartsheet
What We Offer:
