About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Boston Pizza Athabasca. Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
Work Environment

As a Shift Manager at Boston Pizza Athabasca, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. You will be on your feet for most of your shift, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week.
