Job Summary

Select People Solutions is seeking a skilled 5th Class Power Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and operate equipment such as boilers, pumps, and dryer systems to ensure efficient operation.
  • Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials and products as required.
  • Stack and organize materials neatly to maximize storage space and facilitate inventory management.
  • Assist with other warehouse tasks such as picking orders, packing products, and conducting inventory counts as needed.
Requirements
  • Valid 5th Class Power Engineering Certification - 4th class certification is considered an asset.
  • Steel-Toed Boots.
  • Ability to lift over 20kg.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to relevant regulations and procedures.
Bonus Points
  • Experience operating a forklift.
  • Experience in food manufacturing.
  • Experience in Process Operations.
