Position Overview

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure effective workflow.
  • Oversee the logistics operations of the organization.
  • Plan and coordinate logistical activities across various departments.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on logistics performance.
  • Ensure the optimal functioning of computer systems and machinery.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair services as needed.
  • Address operational challenges and provide technical recommendations to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Participate in the recruitment and hiring of logistics staff.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors to schedule operations efficiently.
  • Conduct training sessions for new employees on policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate staff training and development initiatives.
  • Perform performance evaluations for team members.
  • Assign and review work tasks among team members.
  • Manage the requisition of materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Maintain and organize inventory effectively.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise a team of 3-4 individuals.

Technical Proficiency
  • Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Windows, and MS Office.
Work Environment
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of working under pressure with attention to detail.
  • Physical demands include repetitive tasks and the need for hand-eye coordination.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.

Experience

1 to less than 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

This is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 35 hours per week.
