We are seeking a Transformation Delivery Manager to provide essential support to the Change Delivery Lead within the Transformation Management Office (TMO), overseeing the Aviva Canada Change Portfolio Initiatives that will influence the overall strategic objectives of Aviva Canada.

The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in leadership support, ensuring that best practice Governance, Assurance, and Execution Discipline activities contribute to the successful realization of the Change Portfolio. Become a part of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the integrated plan for the Aviva Canada Change Portfolio.
  • Define the Governance of planning activities and collaborate with the Change Delivery Lead to establish processes, artifacts, and regular activities.
  • Ensure alignment with commitments made to Boards and Committees regarding outcomes, deliverables, and objectives.
  • Implement a consistent tracking process for all initiatives.
  • Reflect any modifications or enhancements to the planning process, artifacts, or regular activities in the TMO Governance Model.
  • Evaluate and challenge the feasibility and robustness of all plans.
  • Monitor and report on all dependencies, risks, and issues effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date planning artifacts at all times.
  • Organize and facilitate ongoing integrated planning sessions with key partners at least every 90 days.
  • Build and nurture strong, mutually beneficial relationships with all key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in multi-initiative delivery and strong relationship-building skills with collaborators.
  • Exceptional planning leadership capabilities with a focus on empowering a team of project and product specialists.
  • Familiarity with Business and IT Partners, their platforms, and delivery methodologies.
  • Outstanding partner management and influencing skills in a complex transformation environment.
  • Ability to identify and articulate risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.
  • Proactive in seeking opportunities for improvement and driving effective delivery with a balanced risk management approach.
  • Understanding of the Canadian business landscape and market dynamics.
  • Resilience in managing challenges at senior levels while fostering relationships.
  • Relevant professional qualifications and higher education credentials.
