Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team at Importation International Bochitex. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to meet the needs of our organization.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform routine network start up and close down, maintain control records, and perform web-server backup and recovery operations.
  • Customer Support: Respond to requests for help and information from website visitors and website designers.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and attention to detail.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
