The Psychiatric Aide will assist in providing personal care and emotional support to patients following established guidelines and principles of the Interior Health Authority; Tertiary Mental Health and Addictions Services.
About the Role:
This is a Casual position, providing flexibility with varying work hours. The Psychiatric Aide will work in a dynamic environment, assisting patients with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and contributing to a safe and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients
- Contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment, adhering to established guidelines and principles
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
Rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights. Shift times range from 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00. This position is Casual, providing flexibility with varying work hours.
