About the Role

Turtle Jack's is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar operation, including inventory management, staff training, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Run and improve all bar operations at an excellent level, maintaining and adhering to Turtle Jack's standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Leadership and Development: Maximize long-term profitability through positive leadership, boosting team morale, increasing guest satisfaction, building sales, and training future leaders.
  • Financial Management: Maintain budgeted sales growth, beverage, and labor cost of goods.
  • Inventory Management: Control all ordering and inventories of liquor, wine, beer, and bar operating supplies.
  • Staff Development: Coach and develop team members through certified bar training programs.
  • Quality and Safety: Maintain operational standards, meet all Health & Safety standards as per Ontario standards, and meet all AGCO standards.
  • Performance Management: Provide reviews, coaching, and guidance to all team members.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience in a comparable restaurant environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of computers and restaurant software programs.
  • Knowledge and understanding of managing budgets, labor, and beverage costs.
  • Strong leadership and development skills.
  • Smart Serve Certification.
  • All In positive attitude.
