Carpenter - Construction and Renovation Expert

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Friends Concrete Cutting Inc. as a key member of our construction and renovation team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes, using measuring tools and equipment.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create structures and fixtures.
- Prepare tenders and quotations for clients, estimating costs and materials required for projects.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to create safe and secure structures.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to complete construction projects.
- Schedule and coordinate work on sites, ensuring timely completion of projects and managing teams of workers.
- Instruct and train apprentices in carpentry skills and techniques.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including commercial and industrial establishments.
- Criminal record check required for all applicants.
- Physical demands of the job include bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and working in physically demanding environments.
- Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with clients, colleagues, and team members.
