Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials across long distances.
  • Ensure the safe and secure transportation of cargo, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to maintain the condition of the vehicle and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch and other stakeholders to coordinate transportation logistics.
  • Manage cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license and relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as required.
