About the Role

Career Coordinators is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and maintaining general ledgers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and maintain accurate and complete financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and balance general ledgers, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Accounting Software: Utilize accounting software to perform financial tasks, including data entry, reporting, and analysis.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Software: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, and Sage Accounting Software.
