We are seeking a skilled Welder-Fitter to join our team at IWeld Canada Corporation. As a Welder-Fitter, you will be responsible for operating metal cleaning equipment, transporting items throughout the plant, and assisting structural steel and platework fitters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, and scale from metal products.
  • Transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, and metal machine operators.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
  • Load and unload vehicles.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability.
Work Environment:

The work environment is industrial, with a dusty, hot, and noisy atmosphere. You will be working at heights and in an industrial facility or establishment.
