ADGA Group of Companies is seeking a qualified Security Architect to enhance our Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC). This position is pivotal in providing Security Architecture expertise to support military operations.

The Security Architect will be responsible for the following key activities:

  • Evaluate and ensure compliance of Canadian Army (CA) Network policies with international standards and federal regulations;
  • Formulate a strategic vision for the Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC) in alignment with the Canadian Armed Forces Cyber Mission Assurance (CAF CMA) Program;
  • Collaborate with the Ground 6 (G6) Cyber lead on business planning initiatives;
  • Design a comprehensive strategy for the integration of CSOC;
  • Establish research and development (R&D) objectives and create the CA Cyber R&D policy;
  • Partner with Divisions (DIVs) and G6 Cyber to gather IT Security data and evaluate monitoring tools and open source intelligence (OSINT) feeds for their applicability within CA networks;
  • Assess and standardize training objectives and strategies for the Cyber Mission Assurance Team (CMAT).

Required Qualifications

  • Master of Engineering in software, computer, systems, electrical, or a relevant technical discipline;
  • At least 15 years of proven experience in a minimum of four of the following areas: security architecture and engineering, vulnerability assessment and mitigation, development of security governance and compliance frameworks, design of communication and network security strategies, identity and access management, and security operations including logging and monitoring;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Military Command and Control Communication and Information systems or ISTAR systems;
  • At least 8 years of experience in preparing technical documentation, system specifications, and proposals in Information Technology or engineering fields;
  • Proven ability to communicate IT frameworks to both management and technical teams, provide strategic guidance on technical issues, lead multidisciplinary teams, and perform planning for projects or systems.
