Key Responsibilities- Production Planning and Management
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer deadlines
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production workflow
- Team Supervision and Development
- Supervise and train production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
- Provide coaching and feedback to improve team performance and productivity
- Quality Control and Assurance
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications
- Implement corrective actions to address any quality issues
- Inventory Management and Requisition
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for production
- Requisition materials and supplies as needed
- Health and Safety
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies
- Identify and mitigate potential hazards in the workplace
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a production or supervisory role
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
