About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Glen-Merritt Collision Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify issues and malfunctions
  • Discuss work with supervisor to determine repair or replacement needs
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
