Clinical Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Services Manager to join our team at BC Cancer. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Clinical Trials Unit at Vancouver Centre and providing clinical and operational leadership to our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic priorities and operational plans to ensure the effective management of the Clinical Trials Unit.
- Provide leadership and direction to team members, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Manage clinical service area operations, including coordinating and establishing priorities, assessing and monitoring staffing requirements and supplies.
- Develop and implement effective practice and process to measure the use of resources and quality of care.
- Lead quality improvement activities, including identifying evidence-based outcomes, developing quality indicators and care pathways, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
- Master's degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field, plus a minimum of 7-10 years of recent related clinical experience, including 2 years in a managerial/leadership capacity.
- Current registration/membership with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) or an appropriate recognized professional association.
- Proven leadership ability, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to relate easily to a variety of people from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong skills in operations management, including budget development and oversight, and the ability to manage human and fiscal resources.
- Ability to develop and foster a culture of education and research aimed at improving care delivery and patient outcomes.
- Knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting Indigenous communities, and familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety and anti-racism.
