Position: Accounts Payable Specialist
Role Overview: Reporting to the Manager of IPP Accounting, the Accounts Payable Specialist will be tasked with the accurate and timely processing of invoices. This position includes reviewing invoices, preparing payment runs, addressing vendor inquiries, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and process invoices for correctness and proper authorization
- Prepare payment runs and manage special instructions
- Promptly address vendor inquiries
- Monitor accounts payable aging reports
- Process employee expense claims
- Conduct regular reconciliations
- Assist with filing and general administrative tasks
- Handle miscellaneous requests as required
Required Qualifications:
- Fundamental accounting knowledge
- Preferred post-secondary education
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Experience with Yardi Voyager 7S is advantageous
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Capability to foster and maintain positive working relationships
- Attention to detail and capacity to meet deadlines
