We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Manager to join our team at Acuity Brands. As a key member of our marketing department, you will play a critical role in developing and executing our global brand marketing strategy to support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess corporate communication needs and develop effective communication strategies to support our business objectives.
- Develop and implement global brand marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Manage public relations efforts, including key messages, press releases, and Q&A documents.
- Promote and protect the reputation of our company and its product brands.
- Support internal clients with the development and execution of effective communication strategies to increase employer branding awareness.
- Create content for various internal and external communication tools, including speaking notes, corporate presentations, brochures, and digital assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar communications role.
- Excellent writing skills in English and French.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Ability to provide advice to internal clients and management.
- Ability to articulate complex subject matter in a straightforward, concise, and easily digestible manner for various audiences.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects while being flexible to accommodate shifting priorities.
- Initiative and team spirit, at ease in a remote working environment.
- Sense of organization and priorities, rigor, and attention to detail.
