Property Claims Adjuster

We are seeking a skilled Property Claims Adjuster to join our team at Crawford & Company in Ontario. As a Property Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and negotiating property claims by telephone and correspondence.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and evaluate property claims to determine the extent of damage or loss.
- Negotiate with insureds, adjusters, and clients to settle claims.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of files.
- Work effectively with a team to achieve business objectives.
- Minimum of 3 years of functional and technical property claims handling experience in an insurance environment.
- Post-Secondary education in an insurance-related field is considered an asset.
- Ability to obtain a license or working towards a CIP designation.
- Experience in property adjusting, including investigation and detailed reporting of residential and commercial property.
- Strong computer and reporting skills, including Office 365.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
