Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Early Psychosis Intervention Program. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive psychological services to individuals and families affected by serious mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation services to clients in a collaborative team environment.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Conduct assessments using various modules, including interviewing, behavioral observation, and psychological testing.
- Provide formal and informal consultation to staff, community psychologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to decision-making, and attend clinical conferences for client reviews and case discussions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring continuity of care and documentation.
- Initiate and carry out program evaluation, suggesting hypotheses, identifying relevant variables, and formulating research designs.
- Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from a recognized university.
- Current registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia.
- Three years of recent experience in mental health services, including adolescent and youth mental health.
- Valid Class V BC Driver's license and possession of a personal vehicle with business insurance coverage.
- Comprehensive knowledge and skills in working with adolescents, family therapy, and group therapy.
- Demonstrated knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis, early psychosis, family dynamics, and relevant legislation.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to work in a team environment.
