Primary Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper or designated supervisor, the Room Attendant is tasked with:

Preparing rooms for cleaning by entering and organizing the space; Making beds according to established hotel standards; Restocking guestroom and bathroom supplies as needed; Delivering and collecting items requested by guests, such as irons and ironing boards; Performing deep cleaning tasks (e.g., steam cleaning carpets, seasonal cleaning) as required; Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and equipment in line with hotel standards; Responding to guest calls, requests, and complaints within the assigned area; Striving to achieve and surpass guest satisfaction; Undertaking additional duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Attributes...

Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds unaided and over 25 pounds with assistance; Capability to maneuver a loaded housekeeping cart and other equipment over uneven surfaces; Flexibility to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, and stooping; Capacity to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout the work shift; Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of various sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills; Availability to work on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
