In your role as a Retail Store Manager, you will manage every facet of the retail experience—from hiring and mentoring skilled team members to implementing strategic merchandising plans. Your leadership will set the benchmark for success, and each day you will take pride in knowing you are positively impacting the lives of your team, our customers, and the pets entrusted to our care.
ABOUT YOUR TEAM:
You will guide an Assistant Manager, Service Managers, and Department Managers in achieving excellence in the following areas:
- Customer Engagement: Our Customer Engagement team, equipped with in-depth product knowledge and a love for animals, ensures that customers receive the best solutions for their pets. They also supervise a team of Pet Care Associates to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all pets.
- Merchandising & Inventory: The Merchandise and Inventory teams are crucial in assisting pet parents in finding the right products. This team is responsible for executing plan-o-grams, organizing promotional activities, and managing the fulfillment of In-Store Pick Up Orders.
- Associate Leadership: Focusing on training and development, our Associate Lead ensures that the team is well-equipped to guide pet parents and support the Store Manager in executing company strategies.
- Services: Beyond merchandise, our stores offer a variety of services that are rapidly expanding. While our Grooming Salon and Pets Hotel have their own leadership, collaboration with the Store Manager is essential for their success.
- Overall Retail Initiatives: Together with your teams, you will drive sales and traffic goals, implement strategic merchandising initiatives, and establish success standards within the retail environment.
