The LPN Shift Supervisor - Team Lead is a key member of the igility / Health Association Nova Scotia team, responsible for providing exceptional care and leadership to our clients. As a seasoned LPN with a passion for delivering high-quality care, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Supervision: Provide effective supervision and guidance to the Rehabilitative Care Workers, Recreation Programmers, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Dietary staff to ensure the delivery of quality care and services.
- Clinical Oversight: Ensure consistent delivery of quality care and services to our clients, working closely with the Director/Assistant Director of Disability Support Programs to achieve this goal.
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with other LPNs, Management Team Members, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Problem-Solving and Quality Assurance: Participate in problem-solving, decision-making, and quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Client-Centered Care: Maintain supportive, caring, and professional relationships with clients, supporting their inclusion and independence.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a LPN in Nova Scotia
- Successful completion of Pharmacology Course
- Valid Nova Scotia Driver's License; available means of transportation
- Current certificate in Standard First Aid and CPR
- Non-violent Crisis Intervention training or Mandt
- Related experience preferred
