Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide effective supervision and guidance to the Rehabilitative Care Workers, Recreation Programmers, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Dietary staff to ensure the delivery of quality care and services.
  • Clinical Oversight: Ensure consistent delivery of quality care and services to our clients, working closely with the Director/Assistant Director of Disability Support Programs to achieve this goal.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with other LPNs, Management Team Members, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Problem-Solving and Quality Assurance: Participate in problem-solving, decision-making, and quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Client-Centered Care: Maintain supportive, caring, and professional relationships with clients, supporting their inclusion and independence.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a LPN in Nova Scotia
  • Successful completion of Pharmacology Course
  • Valid Nova Scotia Driver's License; available means of transportation
  • Current certificate in Standard First Aid and CPR
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention training or Mandt
  • Related experience preferred
