About the Role

49 Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a critical role in assisting the Assistant-Director of Cyber Security Risks and Awareness in coordinating reporting processes and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the coordination of reporting processes and protocols, and participate in governance meetings within the Cyber team.
  • Risk Management: Analyze metrics and qualitative findings to identify and mitigate potential cybersecurity risks.
  • Project Management: Demonstrate experience in project management and governance within cybersecurity, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate complex data and insights to all levels of the organization, including executive level.
  • Security Clearance: Possess Bank of Canada Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree or college diploma in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications (CISM, CRISC).
  • Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years or demonstrated cybersecurity risk management and metric analysis experience.
  • Skills: Demonstrated experience with Excel and Visualization tools (i.e. Power BI), and working in a 3 Lines of Defense Model.
