Key Responsibilities- Delivery Operations: Safely transport and deliver items using automobiles, vans, and light trucks.
- Customer Interaction: Provide professional service while accepting payments or invoices for delivered items.
- Communication: Relay important information to central dispatch and keep accurate records of deliveries.
- Logistics Management: Load and unload goods efficiently, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Route Navigation: Follow directions and utilize maps to optimize delivery routes.
- Trip Documentation: Maintain records of vehicle mileage, fuel expenses, and any issues encountered during trips.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, with a minimum of 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
Work EnvironmentThe role will primarily involve working with motor vehicles in various conditions, requiring adaptability and a focus on safety.
