Job Overview

Aramark is seeking a skilled Food Service Worker to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, maintaining high standards of quality, and ensuring a safe and clean working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including meal planning, food handling, and presentation.
  • Cash Handling and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate cash receipts and meal records, and assist with daily reports.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Ensure high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.
  • Customer Service: Serve food according to meal schedules, department policies, and procedures, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Use and care of kitchen equipment, including knives, and assist with major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and cooking and serving equipment.
  • Food Safety: Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, food handling, and storage.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the manager and other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Education: Sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Food Service Certificate: As needed.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and/or extended walking and standing.
