Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution

Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions.

Load and Unload Goods

Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.

Vehicle Maintenance

Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform routine maintenance tasks.

Emergency Response

Perform emergency roadside repairs and respond to unexpected situations.

Documentation and Record-Keeping

Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and maintain a clean and organized driver logbook.

Cargo Handling

Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including tarping and handling hazardous materials.

Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Bill of lading knowledge
  • Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) knowledge
  • Flatbed truck operation experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The work language is English.
