We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Lawyer to join our busy transactional practice at LaBarge Weinstein LLP. As a key member of our corporate finance and M&A teams, you will provide tax expertise in connection with transactions, advising on tax implications, assisting with due diligence, and developing tax-driven restructuring strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide tax advice on corporate finance and M&A transactions
- Assist with tax-related due diligence and disclosures
- Develop and implement tax-driven restructuring strategies
- Collaborate with corporate finance and M&A teams to provide tax expertise
- Minimum 8 years of solid Canadian tax experience
- Proven expertise in tax structuring for venture capital backed financing and M&A transactions
- Ability to provide practical advice on technical matters
