Senior Tax Compliance Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Compliance Accountant to join our team at twiceasnice Recruiting. As a Senior Tax Compliance Accountant, you will be responsible for providing expert tax compliance services to our clients, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of tax documents, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver tax compliance services
  • Advise on accounting and compliance strategies to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Prepare and review compilations and tax engagements with precision and attention to detail
  • Manage deadlines and day-to-day planning of workflow to ensure timely delivery
  • Mentor junior team members to enhance skills and foster ongoing professional growth
  • Oversee team performance and provide guidance to ensure high-quality work and efficient operations
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance required, with CPA certification preferred
  • 5+ years of accounting experience at an accounting firm required
  • Expertise with Canadian business (corporate and year-end) tax compliance required
  • Proficient with MS Excel required
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail required
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) required
