Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at 1616859 Ontario Limited. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our fast food restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Management: Analyze and optimize our restaurant's budget to boost profits and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Operations Evaluation: Regularly evaluate our daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Labour Cost Management: Monitor revenues and determine labour costs to ensure that we are operating within our budget.
  • Staff Management: Plan and organize daily operations, set staff work schedules, supervise staff, train staff, and balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, and ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that our restaurant adheres to all health and safety regulations, including obtaining necessary certifications such as WHMIS, Safe Food Handling, and Food Safety.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, address customer complaints or concerns, and negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: WHMIS, Safe Food Handling, and Food Safety certificates.
  • Language: English.
