Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Atlantic Home Furnishings Ltd. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to customers in a timely manner. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop your skills in logistics and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Load and unload goods, and prepare, package, and restock goods as needed
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes and ensure timely delivery
  • Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Steel-toed safety boots and gloves
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions and will be expected to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
