Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at Peter's Pizza. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering our delicious pizzas to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive company vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to pick up and deliver various items and products.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive their orders in a friendly and professional manner.
- Payment and Invoicing: Accept payment or invoices for items delivered, maintaining accurate records and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Inventory Management: Prepare, package, and restock goods, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and that products are delivered in a timely manner.
- Navigation and Route Planning: Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize delivery routes and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Financial Transactions: Process payments and receive payments for goods, maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of company vehicles, ensuring that they are in good working condition and that all necessary maintenance is performed.
- Criminal Record Check: Pass a criminal record check, ensuring that you are eligible to work with our company.
- Weight Handling: Be able to lift and handle packages weighing up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Work Term: Work a permanent schedule, with regular hours and a consistent workload.
- Work Language: Speak and understand English fluently, with excellent communication skills.
- Hours of Work: Work 35-40 hours per week, with regular breaks and time off as needed.
