About the Role

Paladin Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Integration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting complex systems that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Deployment: Collaborate with our engineering team to design and deploy integrated low-voltage systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion, networking infrastructure, and commercial audio-visual.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical subject matter expertise in support of pursuit efforts and architectural, as well as detail design activities.
  • System Analysis: Analyze system constraints, performance, and workload requirements to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Configuration and Testing: Install, configure, and test server, storage, and network infrastructure, as well as virtualization platforms and physical security and AV management software platforms.
  • Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts, images, and other automation techniques to minimize repeat work and improve consistency.
  • Software and OS Upgrades: Plan and deliver software and OS upgrades, and develop and maintain Method Of Procedures for system upgrades and implementations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work directly with other Systems Analysts, Project Managers, Sales, and Engineering resources to help design IT infrastructure supporting Physical Security and Audio Video solutions.
  • Client Support: Develop and maintain client relationships while building confidence and respect in the organization's abilities throughout the industry.
  • On-Call Rotation: Be willing and available to participate in an after-hours On-Call rotation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' progressive experience in Information Technology, with proven experience in designing, deploying, and supporting complex systems.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma from a Technology Institute in computing or electronics, or equivalent training with the armed forces.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical data and analysis to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sound organizational skills, with the capability to handle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced and priority-changing environment.
  • Comfortable with remote work and participating in remote teams.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server, Windows 10/11, and SQL Server, as well as IP networking, SD-Wan, routers/switch configurations.
  • Understanding of and experience with Access Control, Video Management Systems, Intrusion devices and systems, Intercoms, Cameras, Switches, Firewalls, and Wireless Solutions, RFID Systems, Key Management Systems, Virtualization Design and Administration, and integration between those systems.
  • Powershell and other scripting languages, Cybersecurity and system hardening, AWS or Azure cloud computing and network environments, Devops and other advanced system delivery and support automation.
  • Accreditation or certification from a major network supplier such as Cisco, or accreditation or certification with Windows Server and SQL Server.
