Job Summary
The LifeCafé Evening Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless and exceptional member experience at our Cafe. As a key member of our team, you will oversee daily shift operations, motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and speed of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Cafe shift operations, making adjustments to schedules as needed to optimize traffic flow
- Act as daily shift leader, providing top-notch customer and team support
- Ensure team members prepare menu items correctly and serve customers with professionalism
- Provide recommendations for promotions and disciplinary actions to the Manager
- Assist with light food preparation responsibilities
- Respond promptly and efficiently to member inquiries, comments, and concerns
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of employment
- ServeSafe certification within the first 60 days of employment
- Ability to frequently bend and lift objects weighing over 20 pounds
- Capacity to work in a stationary position and move around the Cafe for extended periods
- Night and weekend availability is necessary based on business needs
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in a high-volume food service or retail environment
