Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Maintain Data Governance Frameworks: Design and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks to enhance data quality and ensure consistent data management practices across the organization.
  2. Implement and Oversee Data Governance Policies: Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
  3. Manage the Data Lifecycle: Oversee the classification, storage, retention, and deletion of data to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  4. Collaborate with Data Stakeholders: Work closely with data owners, data stewards, and business units to maintain data governance standards and resolve data-related issues.
  5. Utilize Data Governance Tools: Leverage data governance tools to maintain data catalogs, data lineage, and metadata management, facilitating easy access to data assets.
  6. Lead Data Governance Initiatives: Develop and execute data governance initiatives to achieve data consistency and standardization across the organization.
Requirements
  1. Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Experience: Proven expertise in data governance frameworks and understanding of data protection regulations and compliance.
  3. Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures, proficiency in SQL, data mining, and data observability best practices, and ability to lead data governance initiatives and projects.
  4. Language: Bilingualism in Spanish/English is an asset.
