Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operating Officer to join our team at Employment and Social Development Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions to support our strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure alignment with our organizational goals.
  • Establish financial and administrative controls to ensure effective management of our resources.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions to promote our interests and build relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements
