About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at GSI environement Incorporé d'Filial Englobe. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in the management of our geotechnical investigation, study, and design projects in the renewable energy, hydroelectric, transportation, buildings, climate change, and mining markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from defining customer needs and expectations to coordination, follow-up, completion, and project management.
  • Develop plans, schedules, and other project elements, including technical procedures and work plans.
  • Manage and/or draft all document deliverables for projects, including proposals, specifications, case studies, technical and non-technical reports.
  • Attend and/or lead project management, client, office, and team meetings.
  • Plan, monitor, and supervise geotechnical investigations, including exploratory drilling and/or wells, soil sampling, monitoring of well and piezometer installations, and in-situ testing.
  • Process, compile, and analyze data.
  • Carry out project administration tasks, including timesheet generation and project invoicing.
  • Supervise, support, and/or mentor project team members.
  • Ensure all company health and safety policies and procedures are rigorously followed and participate in H&S inspections.
Requirements
  • A university degree in geological engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Superior document management abilities and experience writing proposals, specifications, case studies, technical and non-technical reports.
  • Good written and verbal English skills and superior communication skills.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Previous experience in an engineering environment and with geotechnical drilling, settlement analyses, slope stability assessments, and civil construction would be an asset.
