Position Overview

As a pivotal member of TerraSource Global, you will provide exceptional support to our clients and internal teams, ensuring optimal satisfaction with our machinery while also driving service revenue and parts sales.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee, instruct, and mentor clients on the setup, functionality, and upkeep of equipment. Assess machinery, pinpoint service or parts requirements, and submit requests to enhance quote generation.
  • Engage proactively with clients, sales teams, and track recent orders to uncover service visit opportunities.
  • Conduct service visits, produce detailed reports, and ensure timely billing.
  • Leverage the SalesForce platform to submit quote requests, manage service documentation, update asset information, and collaborate with various departments.
  • Effectively manage time and resources to reduce overtime and costs while generating valuable service and parts quotes. Advise sales teams on potential new equipment opportunities at client sites.
  • Provide insights and training on equipment performance and suggest enhancements to Sales, Engineering, and other teams within the Field Service Department.

Supervisory Role

This position does not entail any supervisory duties.

Qualifications

A degree from a college or university or equivalent technical school experience in a relevant field; or a minimum of 5 years of related heavy industrial service experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems.


Required Skills/Experience

  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal; French is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret safety regulations, operational and maintenance instructions, and engineering schematics. Capable of drafting routine reports and correspondence. Effective communication skills in group settings. - Required / Intermediate
  • Competence in applying mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios in practical scenarios. - Required / Basic
  • Significant creativity and judgment are necessary to navigate complex situations, interpret outcomes, and make independent decisions. - Required / Expert
  • Ability to generate professional and grammatically correct technical reports and proposals without requiring extensive review. - Required / Intermediate
  • Familiarity with general hand tools, measuring instruments, air tools, and other common equipment for industrial maintenance. - Preferred / Intermediate
  • A valid driver's license in the province of residence and eligibility under the company's motor vehicle insurance policy is mandatory. - Required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in common PC applications, including Microsoft products. - Required / Intermediate
  • Experience with SalesForce or similar customer management systems is advantageous. - Beneficial
  • Completion of annual MSHA Vendor Training and certifications for both surface and underground operations is required.

Travel Requirements

Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time is essential. Some international travel may be necessary, thus a valid passport is required. Work schedules may be adjusted to allow for weekdays off when weekends are worked.
