About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Loss Prevention Consultant to join our team at OnX. As a key member of our IT Solutions Delivery team, you will be responsible for the implementation and deployment of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solutions in our clients' on-premise and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the technical subject matter expert in the deployment, integration, and configuration of McAfee DLP and CASB solutions to protect our clients' data.
  • Investigate, design, and architect DLP and CASB controls to ensure the security and integrity of our clients' data.
  • Map data protection administrative policies into data loss prevention technical controls across endpoint, email, and on-premise and cloud platforms.
  • Implement enterprise-wide McAfee DLP and CASB solutions to ensure seamless data protection.
  • Develop and tune DLP and CASB policies related to PCI-DSS standard and Canadian privacy regulations.
  • Implement automated responses to DLP and CASB incidents to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Assist in the development of security control frameworks and standards related to data protection.
  • Train IT Operations teams to operate, maintain, and support DLP and CASB solutions.
  • Act as Tier 4 technical escalation contact for IT Operations teams for DLP and CASB issues.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Five (5) or more years direct hands-on experience deploying DLP and CASB solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian privacy regulations and the PCI-DSS standard.
  • Strong understanding of IT security frameworks including NIST, CIS, and OWASP.
  • Proven track record of securing data across multiple platforms.
  • Understanding of Zero Trust framework as it relates to data loss prevention.
